At G.J. Gardner Homes, all of our franchises operate within the requirements of Licensed Building Practitioners

G.J. Gardner Homes Manukau Major Projects (trading as Rabo Construct) was established in 2003 and was purchased in 2017 by the current business owners – Byron Naude, Jeremy Waters and Dougal Paterson.

Byron joined the Manukau Major team over 4 years ago and has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Byron has built his career and wealth of knowledge in the civil and commercial building sector. He oversees the day to day running of the business in his role as general manager and franchisee.

Jeremy has a valuation background and during his 25 years in the property sector, has specialised in project management and project delivery, master-planning and strategic advice.

Dougal has over 20 years in the project and property industry, leading teams across multiple markets and has particular strengths in the innovation and design spaces.

Manukau Major Projects is one of the 'wholesale' build franchises within the G.J. Gardner network. They undertake larger build projects in the Manukau and Central Auckland areas for a number of clients including Kainga Ora, Tamaki Regeneration Company, Iwi, Church groups and a large number of developers.

They work solely in the Manukau and Central Auckland areas with a focus on using subcontractors and suppliers in the local area. With Auckland rapidly becoming a bigger and busier city, they recognise the cost and time efficiencies by working with local contractors and suppliers within the communities.

They have a fully qualified team who have significant experience with larger residential build projects and the right skill sets to communicate clearly and honestly with all levels of the wider project team. They are passionate about what they do and take great pride in their work and achievements.

They bring fresh thinking on the projects they deliver, they take time to understand the objectives of projects, finding a better way forward and adding value from concept to completion.

From March 1st 2012 changes to the Building Act 2004 mean that building work of homes affecting the structure or water envelope (as when building new homes), will be classified as Restricted Building Work and is required to be carried out by competent, appropriately licensed building practitioners. At G.J. Gardner Homes, all of our franchises operate within the requirements of Licensed Building Practitioners. If you require any further information about licensing please click the logo above to go to the Licensed building practitioners (LBPs) website.
